| DDC reviews developmental works | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 5: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ramban Shabir Ahmad today held detailed review meeting of district and sectoral officers of all the departments.
Those who attended the meeting included officers from PWD, PHE, RDD, I&FC, Education, Health, PDD, PMGSY and JKPHC. Shabir reviewed physical and financial progress under these sectors for the period ending December 2010. Sectoral officers also apprised DDC about the issues related to their departments and sought redressel of the same as earliest.
DDC, Ramban laid stress on the Sectoral officers to accelerate the construction works of roads, buildings, bridges etc. for their completion within the prescribed time limit and work with zeal & dedication and sincerity, so that benefits of the schemes percolate down to the public. In 2nd phase of the meeting, DDC reviewed the physical and financial achievements made under non-engineering sectors.
