| GCET students bring laurels | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 5: In the recently declared University results for B.E. 4th semester, students of 2008 batch of Government College for Engineering and Technology (GCET) have excelled.
Overall pass percentage for three Engineering Colleges stood at 51 whereas pass percentage for GCET is 65. Out of 16 positions, GCET has bagged eight positions whereas MBSCET and MIET has got five and three positions respectively.
Meritorious students of GCET are Karan Gandotra, Aashima Puri Divya Darshan Banotra (all Computer Engineering), Varun Pangotra (Civil Engineering), Uzma Nazir (Computer Engineering), Mehak Mahajan (Electronics & Communication Engineering), Sunny Nazar and Richa Sharma (both Computer Engineering) who bagged 2nd, 4th, 7th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th and 14th positions respectively whereas first positions was grabbed by Soubhika Sharma of MBSCET,
Principal, GCET and Dean, Faculty of Engineering has congratulated the students for their good performance
