| Pak raises multi-storey bunkers near IB | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 5: Pakistan has raised multi-storey bunkers on their side of the International Border (IB), causing serious security concerns in India.
Official sources said these bunkers had been raised close to the IB and overlooked forward BSF outposts in some areas.
Pakistan had violated the set norms as no structure was permitted within 500 metres of the border, the sources added. Sources said the raising of these bunkers added to the difficulties of BSF manning IB.
The IB has already witnessed two to three infiltration attempts in the past few days. On two occasions, the Pak Rangers provided cover fire to militants to sneak into this side of the border.
