Govt committed for balanced development of three regions: Bhalla

Jammu, Jan 6: Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Raman Bhalla has said that coalition Government is committed for balanced development of three regions of the State adding there is no constraint of funds in developing every nook and corner of the State
on modern lines.
This was stated by the Minister while addressing a large gathering after laying the foundation of deep drain and road widening from marble market Dilli link road to Jodhamal high school, coming up at an estimated cost of Rs. 20 lakh.
To reduce traffic congestion on Marbel market to Greater Kailash road, Mr. Bhalla said a double-lane flyover on Marble Market to Greater Kailash would be constructed shortly, for which Government has earmarked Rs. 9 crore under ADB loan-2 adding the construction work could be started after completing the tender formalities. He said Government has sanctioned Rs. 3.5 crore for digging of one lakh gallon discharge capacity tube well including laying of water supply pipes in the uncovered areas of Dilli village, Marble Market, Sainik Colony and Greater Kailash areas adding on the commissioning of tube well, the drinking water facilities would by improve to a large extent in the said areas.
The Minister said that coalition Government is making all out efforts to provide all civic amenities to the all sections of society at their doorsteps. He said Government has spent Rs. 4 crore for upgradation of Channi Himmat, Channi Rama, Sainik Colony, Marble market and Greater Kailash roads including internal link. He said that a proposal for inclusion of left out colonies of his constituency into Municipal Corporation is under active consideration with Housing and Urban Ministry adding after approval, the areas included Dilli, Apna Vihar, Jallo Chak, Sunjwan, Bathindi, Bandhu Rakh besides remaining area of Sainik colony would be comes under Municipal Corporation. Responding to the people demand, Mr. Bhalla announced 30 sodium lights for Dilli village.
