| JKNUF announces office bearers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Jan 6: J&K National Union Front (JKNUF) today announced the list of newly elected office bearers of the front .
The decision was taken by Mohd Gaffor Dar who was re- elected 4th time as state president of Front at the recently held conference in Gen Zorwar Singh Auditorium. The member elected as office-bearers included Ab Ahad Bandroo, Pawan Sharam as vice president, Arun Muza as advisor, Rasool Geelani a general secretary, Arshad Ahmed Naik secretary, Gul Mohd Rashid Malik and Manzoor Ahmed Khan as Publicity secretaries, Mustaq Ahmed Badana as cashier, Shakola, finance secretary, Nishat Ahmed Raina and Navjot Singh as joint secretaries. The working committee members included Krishan Singh Babu Hussian Maili Rajinder Kumar Mohd Vikram Jit Singh Subash Karmat mailk Suman Jamila Sabir Hussain Prevez Ahmed Musaffer Ahmed Nabi Mir, Sewa Ram Rathor and Raj Singh.
Talking to media persons, Mohd Gafoor Dar urged upon the state govt not the delay the genuine demands of state government. employees viz payment of 50 pc arrears in cash, enhancement of retirement age from 58 to 60 years, release of 10% DA, change of designation of helpers as per the job performed by them, regularization of daily rated workers engaged after 1994 and uniform wages policy for them, regularization of adhesives, consolidated, contractual and education volunteers within 7 year and inclusion of 7 year period for promotion benefits, regular monthly wages and rent to the anganwari workers and helpers. They also demanded incentive for Asha workers as per NRHM guidelines, amendment in recruitment rules of ICDS Supervisor, workers and work supervisor of irrigation & Flood control for 100% promotion quota, & holding of DPC meeting of all the departments, implementation of medi-claim policy to State Govt. employees and workers.
Dar further said in case of further delay the employees will be left with no alternative except agitation. Dar appealed to all Trade Union leaders to come on one plateform on the basis of collective leadership and united plate form if they are serious about solution of demands.
