Chief Engineer Beacon T P S Rawat and Rama Agarwal, member of All India Marwari Yuva Manch were also present. During the camp, an expert team of paramedics examined about 200 patients. The artificial limbs were fabricated as per the specific requirement of each individual in a workshop established for the purpose in Beacon Complex itself. On the occasion, the process of examination, fabrication of artificial limbs and its provision at a single place obviated the requirement of the amputees to move from place to place for the same and this was highly appreciated by not only the recipients but others also. The same camp was also conducted at Batote in which 50 persons were treated and provided free artificial limbs. The function was presided over by Maj Gen A K Chaturvedi, Chief Engineer Headquarters, Northern Command.
