| BJP hands over Rs 42,000 to Bal Niketan | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 6: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) State President Shamsher Singh Manhas, along with State general secretary Sat Sharma visited Ved Mandir Complex in Ambphalla here today.
On this occasion, they handed about Rs. 42,000 to the office bearers of Bal Niketan and Valika Niketan. This amount was delivered on behalf of BJP’s National office bearers as it was collected by them during their visit to Jammu in connection with the December 23 meeting.
This amount was received by Amar Chand Gupta, President Ved Mandir Complex and Capt. Parshotam Sharma, Vice-president from the BJP state president.
Manhas after handing over this amount, said that the top leadership of BJP, which was in city of temples to attend meeting of National office-bearers on December 23 had decided to donate voluntarily some money from their pockets and donate the same for the welfare of the small children who are orphans and are being taken care in Bal Niketan and Valika Niketan.
Balbir Ram and BJYM State president Munish Sharma were also present.
