| UPA govt. shielding corrupt ministers in 2-G scam: ABVP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU Jan 6: Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarathi Parishad (ABVP) alleged that UPA government is trying to shield the people involved in 2-G scam.
Parishad held a protest against the central government and flayed Congress of befooling the people and supporting the corrupt leaders. ABVP activists from different colleges of Jammu city, Law School and other educational institutions shouted slogans against the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi.
Addressing the gathering, Ajay Sharma, state secretary (ABVP) said that in 2010 many big scams hit the country which includes mismanagement at CWG 2010, 2-G spectrum allocation or Adarsh Housing Society scams but nothing has been done to book the culprits.
He maintained that it is the failure of UPA and Congress in particular which remained in power for more than half a century at centre and people even in 21st century are worried about food and shelter and ministers are making money in big scams. Sharma said that only JPC probe can bring out the truth and congress too knows it but to save its ministers and to be fool the civil society.
Those who spoke on the occasion include Rakesh Sharma, Raghav Sharma, Stanzin, Ranveer Singh and Sunil Sharma.
