| SGCT among three killed in accidents, 26 sustain injuries in Batote accident | | | JAMMU NOV-07-
A selection grade constable was among three killed in different road accidents while 26 passengers got injured in an accident at Tringila Batote.
A police spokesman said that Kishori Lal SGCT of 8th Bn JKAP (presently on leave) and son of Shonku Ram resident of Poonch was injured when 407 Traffic Police vehicle hit the scooter, in which he was traveling, resulting into serious injuries. He was shifted to GMC Hospital here where the doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
In another accident a truck hit a motorcyclist at Bagyal Morh National Highway resulting on the spot death of one Surjeet Singh son of Ujagar Singh resident of Lachipura and injuries to two others. A tipper rolled down at Kandiare Nallah resulting on the stop death of the driver Javid Ashraf Khan son of Mohammed Ashraf Khan resident of Bemina housing colony Srinagar at present at Bahu Fort.
The reports said that 26 passengers sustained injuries when a bus met with an accident at Tringila Batote in the morning today. Of the injured, 19 have been admitted in Batote Hospital while the remaining seven, who had sustained serious injuries, were shifted to GMC hospital for specialized treatment.
