SRS rues delay in restoration of IMFA building
1/6/2011 10:23:13 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 6: Shri Ram Sena (SRS) has expressed resentment against the State
government for delaying the renovation and restoration of building of
Institute of Music and Fine Arts (IMFA) at Talab Tillo.
Addressing media persons here today, Shri Ram Sena president Rajiv Mahajan
Mahajan said that the matter was brought into the notice of the then
Deputy Commissioner of Jammu who was kind enough to inspect the
building on October 26 last and assured that the building would be
renovated within ten days time, but till this day no action seemed to
have been taken to get the above said building repair or renovated.
He mentioned that the building was in shambles and about to collapse
and needed immediate attention and restoration.
He appealed to the Director Estate Department to look into this matter
personally and get the institute building renovated and restoration.
Rajiv Mahajan also appealed to the administration to shift the IMFA to
Jammu University till the building of Institute of Music and Fine Arts
was repaired.
