| Woman OGW arrested, ammunition recovered | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 7: After the recovery of huge quantity of arms and ammunitions on the disclosures of Divisional Commander of Hizbul Mujaheedin (HM) outfit-Javed Qureshi, Doda Police turned its attention towards the Over Ground Worker (OGW) network of the arrested militant.
During interrogation, Javed Qureshi revealed that one Yasmeena Banoo daughter of Ghulam Mohi-ud-din of Behota Marmat who is recently married to one Ghulam Hassan of Sirwal Behota was her close associate. Javed disclosed that he had given one Chinese Pistol, 2 magazines and 10 Rounds to Yasmeena for her safety as well as safe custody of the arms and ammunitions.
On this disclosure, Doda Police acted swiftly and arrested the said lady OGW who led the Doda Police Team to the recovery of ammunition from Khatriyar forest of Marmat area. In this regard case FIR No. 07/2011 under section 7/25 AA has been registered at Police Station Doda. The Police Team in the operation was led by SI Nazir Ahmed Incharge PP Goha Marmat and Head Constable Shabir Ahmed Incharge Mobile Group Goha under the supervision of Addl. SP Heaadquarters Doda Mohd Arif Rishu.
