Govt endeavor to provide jobs to unemployed youth: Bhalla | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, JAN 7: Reiterating coalition Government’s commitment explore all possibilities to provide jobs to unemployed youth both in public and private sectors, Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Raman Bhalla today said that every endeavour is being made to provide people with all basic facilities in all the three regions of the State. This was stated by the Minister while addressing a gathering at a function held at Gandhi Nagar after inspecting slab work of nallah. The Minister advised the unemployed youth to venture in private sector for getting dignified jobs. He said that the coalition Government was committed to identify job avenues for youth, adding creation of new polytechnics in the uncovered districts of the State will go a long way in skill upgradation of youth and development of human resource imperative for enhancing employability in the private sector. Asking youth to explore job avenue in rural industry like beekeeping, mushroom, cultivation, floriculture, aromatic and medicinal plants and other agro based industries, Bhalla said all District Industries Centers have been asked to conduct special awareness camps so that the unemployed educated youth could avail the benefits of State and Centrally Sponsored Schemes. On the occasion, the slab work over nallah at Gandhi Nagar near Park was started in the presence of the Minister. Listing various developmental schemes being implemented in the State, especially in remote and far-off areas, Bhalla said that a massive road connectivity programme has been launched across the State to connect every habitation with the nearest urban centers. He said coming years would witness a revolutionary change in the road communication and development of social infrastructure in the State
