Parent demand closure of schools upto Jan 30

Kathua Jan 7, The School Going Kids Parents Association, Kathua urged the state government to extend winter vacation in all schools in Kathua due to extreme cold. The president of the Association, Ghansham, and the vice president, Kokhyal Sarpanch. Karan Singh, said that most of the schools have no proper heating infrastructure to protect the kids from severe cold and the most of the desks /sitting benches are made of iron steel which are the already strong source of cold absorption. He said keeping all this mind, the government should close all schools upto January 31 in Kathua. They also appealed to District administration to intervene in this matter in order to protect the schoolgoing kids from record breaking day today increasing cold.
