| SPO-turned-thief cuts old man's leg, held | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 07:
A special police officer-turned-burglar, who last night cut an old man's leg at Dassal in Rajouri while trying to flee, was caught by locals and handed over to police.
SPO-turned-burglar, whom police sources identified as Nisar Mohammad, son of Ghulam Hussain of Dassal, last night entered the village mosque.
When he tried to steal a transformer and a mike, some people got up. Before they could catch hold of him, he fled, the sources added.However, while trying to escape, he cut the leg of Mohammad Din who was hospitalised.
Nisar was later caught by some village youth and handed over to police. |
