| DDC Ramban chairs DLRC cum DCC meeting | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAMBAN, Jan 8: District Development Commissioner Shabir Ahmad Bhat convened a meeting of District Level Review Committee (DLRC) and District Consultative Committee (DCC) to review the performance registered by Banks and Line departments under the Annual Action Plan 2010-11 under various schemes.
Speaking at the meeting DDC underlined the need for providing focused attention on creation of employment avenues and asked the officers to motivate people especially youth of the district for setting up their small industrial units as it will help in containing unemployment and
make them self sufficient to a great extent. He further said that there is a lot of scope in poultry, diary, Horticulture, Agriculture farming, which needs to be exploited. He exhorted upon the officers to work in close coordination to enable the people to avail maximum benefits from various schemes in a hassle free manner.
