| GGM Science College students join NPSU | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 8: Hundreds of students of GGM Science College today joined National Panthers Students’ Union.
Led by President of the Students Union of the college, Sanjay Sharma along with other students joined NPSU.
The students joined in the presence of the Chief Patron of NPSU, Prof Bhim Singh and its patrons MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia and Anita Thakur. Speaking on the occasion, Prof Bhim Singh reminded the students that 51 years back he was expelled from this college by the orders of the then Prime Minister, Bakshi Ghulam Mohd for presenting a charter of
demands as President of the Student Union. He told the students that he with several other students resorted to hunger strike for 23 days against his expulsion. Prof. Bhim Singh and
Balwant Singh Mankotia welcomed the students of Science College and Commerce College who joined NPSU.
