| DDC Ramban reviews Republic day celebrations’ arrangements | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Ramban, Jan 8: In order to discuss the arrangement for Celebrations of Republic Day 2011, District Development Commissioner Ramban Shabir Ahmad Bhat convened a meeting of District Officers today on 08-01-2011. During the meeting, it is decided that the main function will be held
at Govt Higher Secondary School Ramban, where the VIP will host the National Flag. He will also take Salute at the March Past by parade contingents comprising of JKAP, CRPF, Forest Protection Force, NCC and various Government and Private Schools.
The cultural programmes will also be performed by the students of various Schools. Other arrangements pertaining to security, sanitation, sitting arrangements, power supply besides other issues related to Republic Day Celebrations were thoroughly discussed and
duties accordingly assigned to all concerned. It is also decided that full dress rehearsal of programmes shall be held on January 24th . The meeting was attended by Addl. Deputy Commissioner Ramban Ajay Singh Jamwal, Sr. Supdtt. of Police Traffic Ramban, Supdtt. of Police Ramban, Commandant IRP BN Ramban, Deputy Commandant CRPF, Asstt.
Commissioner Revenue Ramban, Chief Planning Officer Ramban and XEN PWD
Ramban.
