Peerzada asks pvt institutions to adhere to set norms | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, JAN 08- Minister for Education and Public Enterprises, Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed today said that the government is focusing on consolidation of infrastructure and expansion to broad base the reach of educational facilities and maintain the educational standards in the state. The Minister said this while launching the website of All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum ( www.jkplus2lectforum.com) here today. Earlier, the Minister addressed a function organized by the Zonal Education Officer, Satwari in connection with three day Zonal Level Annual Day Celeberations-2011 as the Chief Guest. Over 1000 students, who have excelled in various co-curricular activities, drawn from 50 schools of the Satwari zone participated. These students had bagged various prizes and positions in activities like games, local craft, science models, charts and paintings. Appreciating the students for their achievements, the Minister said that the Jammu and Kashmir youth are highly talented but there was a need is to channelize the same in a proper way. Peerzada asked the management of the private schools and coaching centres to adhere to the rules and instructions issued by the Government asking them to prominently display fee structure and registration at their respective institutions. Highlighting the achievements registered under the education sector, the Minister said Rs.100 crore have been sanctioned as special package by the Centre under various centrally sponsored schemes like Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) and Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA).
