NSUI demands regularization agri technocrats
1/8/2011 10:05:03 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Jan 8: The National Student Union, Kathua held a protest in favour of their demand for regularization of 3000 Rehbar-e-Ziraat agriculture technocrats. They accused that Omar’s government has forced the Rehabar-e- Ziraat employees to choose the path of militancy to get justice.
Addressing the press conference, district president of NSUI Kathua, Paramjeet Singh said that the previous coalition government led by Ghulam Nabi Azad had taken a dynamic initiative by adjusting almost three thousand agriculture technocrats under R-E-Z scheme. But the present CM Omar Abdullah has failed to carry on the process to provide the permanent employment to the R-E-Z agriculture technocrats despite promises on several occasions.
He said that such kind of injustice and the death of democratic rights of these technocrats at large scale would never be accepted and tolerated. They warned the government if the regularization policy of R-E-Z was not released soon, then they should be ready to face the consequences.
