| Crescent Public School celebrates annual day function | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Jan 8: Crescent Public School, celebrated its 6th annual day function at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu. A grand cultural show and academic prize distribution function was held in the University campus to mark the occasion.
The proceedings began with the lighting of traditional lamp by Minister for Forest, Environment and Ecology Mian Altaf Ahmed and Director , School Education Jammu Gulzar Ahmed Qurashi, Managing Director Tasneem Choudhary and Director trust Arshad Choudhary presented welcome address and Ramma Raina, Principal, CPS presented the school annual report.
A colorful cultural programme viz, English song, Umbrella dance, Jungle theme, Sarvadharam Prarthana, Gojri Dance & a bouquet of Kashmiri, Dogri, Rajasthani & Punjabi item were also presented by the Young Crescentains. Both the Chief Guests & Guest of Honour gave away the prizes to the children for their excellent performance in academics and the co-curricular activities. The Chief Guest, in his address, complimented the prize winners for their outstanding performance in academics. The participants of the colorful cultural programme and the staff of the school also received accolades from the chief guest.
