| Dastak extends support to JPPF | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU Jan 8: Dastak, a social organisation functioning for the overall development of the masses, extended its support to JPPF regarding local Vice Chancellor for Central University issue.
Dr N.S Gupta, its working president, today at meeting reiterated that since inception of university of Jammu only three local professors got an opportunity to serve the local university as vice Chancellor while rest all the Vice Chancellors were outsiders. Gupta said that the dastak will fight for this issue till the demand for local vice chancellor is not met. Gupta appreciated the efforts of JPPF for taking up the local issues of Jammu Province. He also requested other organizations and individuals to come forward to fight the discrimination with pammu Province. The members present in the meeting included Surinder Singh Parvesh, Daljeet Singh, Sushil Singh, Rajesh Sharma, Pawan Kumar, Narayan Dass, Amit Kumar, Pankaj Sharma, Abhishek Sharma, Vikrant Parihar, Sanjay Gupta, Tandon.
