| Lal Singh, Pathania address public meetings. | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Khoon, Jan 9: Ch. Lal Singh, M.P. Udhampur-Doda parliamentary segment, and R.S. Pathania, senior vice-president, J & K Pradesh Youth Congress, addressed largely attended public rallies in Khoon and Manwal area of Ramnagar assembly segment.
Lal Singh called upon the administration to gear up for redressing the basic developmental needs of the area.
He also called for a massive civil initiative in this regard too. He announced Rs. 1.00 lacs for HSS Khoon, Rs. 2.00 lacs for Tajoor Maneh road, Rs. 2.60 lacs for Babay road, Rs. 50 thousand for lane drains at Raiper and Telay.
He issued on spot instructions for making of ration-cards and state subjects for ‘bakerwals’ of the area. He also directed for making project reports for Battal-Sartari foot-bridge, Teda to Pinger Mata road & Bainsta roads from Manwal. He also directed the PDD and PHE authorities to
draft on-spot estimates for provision of drinking water and electricity. He also announced mast lights at Khoon temple and Battal.
He also directed the Groundwater authorities to install hand-pumps at as many as ten locations in the area.
While launching a blistering attack on the pace and module of development in the area, Mr. Pathania said hat due to administrative neglect and lack of proper political leadership, the area has not been able to assert and flourish properly despite the availability of best of potential available here.
