2nd ATM in Gulmarg inaugurated
“J&K Bank has an unflinching commitment to customers”

Srinagar, Jan 9: J&K Bank opened an ATM booth near Station Headquarters in the world famous tourist resort of Gulmarg Saturday.
This is the second such facility in Gulmarg, 28th in North Kashmir and with this the Bank’s total ATM strength goes up to 334.
Nazir Ahmad Parimoo, Bank’s vice-president & Zonal Head for North Kashmir and Brigadier Sanjeev Saini, Commander 161 Infantry Brigade jointly inaugurated the facility in presence of Javaid Bakshi, CEO, Gulmarg Development Authority.
Also present at the inaugural ceremony were Ghulam Rasool, Bank’s Cluster Head, I A Wantt, Bank’s In-charge for extension counter Gulmarg, Colonel Gurpreet Singh, CO 13 JAKRIF, Colonel Y S Guleria, Adm. Commander, Colonel M R S Maan, CO 2/1 GR.
Speaking on the occasion, Parimoo said that J&K Bank’s foremost endeavour was to make banking and financial services available to the people right at their doorsteps.
Urging customers to use Bank’s high-tech services that ensure easy banking and instant fund transfer Parimoo said, “Technology has brought ease and efficiency in the delivery of banking services and has revolutionized the interface between bank and its customers through services like ATMs, e-banking, mobile banking SMS banking, anywhere banking etc. It is now for you to avail these services and enjoy a unique banking experience”.
Stating that Bank had an unflinching commitment to customers Parimoo said, “We are always eager to hear from our customers; their feedback, their expectations and even their disapprovals, for we want to evolve as an organization with extremely enhanced service levels and delightful customers”.
Brigadier Saini in his address appreciated the Bank’s gesture of installing ATM in far flung areas. “Though in a topographically tough state like J&K, there is still dearth of such machines in some remote areas but I must appreciate the Bank authorities for their efforts to bring more and more areas within the ambit of banking and especially technology enabled services which have immensely added to the convenience of customers”, Saini said.
Javid Bakshi in his speech expressed hope that installation of new ATM in Gulmarg would ease the rush on existing ATM and would have a sound impression on tourists in terms of brand J&K Bank and its service efficiency.
