| PAFJP deplores attack on BDO | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 9: People’s Association for Justice and Peace (PAFJP) Jammu has condemned attack on Block Development Officer (BDO) Thathri Dr. Liyaqat allegedly by a contractor.
In a handout issued here today, it has been stated that association held meeting under the Chairmanship of Advocate Showket Ali and deplored the attack on BDO allegedly by a contractor named Shabir Ahmed Butt son of Nasrullah Butt, a resident of Thathri. They said that attack by contractor on the life of officer who is away from his house serving poor people of Thathri is an un-punishable crime.
Association has urged Health Minister, Director Health Service (DHS) Jammu, District Development commissioner (DDC) Doda-Ramban Range, SSP Doda and ASP (Bhaderwah) to personally intervene and enquire into the issue.
