| Committee constitutes to conduct checking of all private Hospital/medical units/clinics in the district | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, JAN 9- In order to put all the medical services and private hospitals under vigil and monitoring, a standing committee have been constituted to conduct surprise inspections and checking of all the private Hospital/medical units/clinics in the district to ensure that they comply with prescribed norms and deliver desirable quality of medical services to the public. The committee comprises of Additional Deputy Commissioner (N ), Jammu as Chairperson, Chief Medical Officer, Jammu as Member/Secy and Medical Superintendent Rajiv Gandhi Hospital, Jammu as Member.
An official handout received from District Magistrate, Jammu, regarding the overall functioning of Private hospitals/Clinics in various parts in the district. Some of the hospitals and medical center are running without proper registration. Even those having registration certificates are not complying with the prerequisite conditions and formalities. The matter was discussed during the meeting of the District Health Society, Jammu.
Meanwhile, District Magistrate has directed All Mobile Tower operators to ensure all necessary permissions and not to cause inconvenience/nuisance and noise pollution to public.
