| Community hall, cricket club inaugurated at Arnia | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, JAN 10-Member Parliament, Madan Lal Sharma has exhorted upon the rural masses to avail maximum benefits of the centrally sponsored schemes for amelioration of their developmental needs.
Sharma said this at a largely drawn public meeting after inaugurating a community hall at Arnia today. The community hall has been constructed at a cost of Rs.12 lakh under MPLAD. Sharma also inaugurated a modernized cricket ground to the local cricket club developed with an estimated cost of Rs.10 lakh. He also inaugurated the lanes and drains at Shapur completed with a total cost of Rs.3.5 lakh.
Sharma conducted is series of public meetings at Bishnah and adjoining areas and listed the grievances of the general masses. He assured every possible assistance under MPLAD for mitigating the development need of the people of the area.
The programme was organized by a veteran social worker of Bishnah Shashi Sharma.
Among others ex-Engineer PWD, Jammu, ex-Engineer Irrigation Jammu, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Jammu and other field functionaries of various departments accompanied the MP.
