| Dhramarth Trust celebrates Yashorajya’s b’day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 10: To mark the birth anniversary celebrations of Dr Karan Singh’s wife Yashorajya, the employees and Pujaries of Dharmarth Trust performed special pooja at Natraj temple in Raghunath temple complex here the other day.
They also paid floral tributes to her. Later paying glowing tributes to the memory of the Maharani Sahiba, President of the Trust Divakar Singh distributed blankets among the poor and needy persons and recalled various social and philanthropic works done by her for the welfare of the people of State. He said late Maharani in her capacity
as Chairperson of Stri Udyog Kariyala, Jammu took keen interest in imparting job-oriented trainings to economically poor women so that they become self-reliant in the society. He said by virtue of these trainings several orphan and hapless women started earnings to supplement income for their families.
He said her contributions for the physically impaired were praiseworthy. Special prayers for the peace and prosperity of the royal family and long life of Dr. Karan Singh were also held at Raghunath temple
Prasad was distributed among the large number of the devotees and others present on the occasion.
