| DYSS officer inspects development of play fields | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, Jan 11: Assistant Director Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), Ashok Kumar took stock of play fields being developed for students and non-student youth in far off places of district Reasi.
These fields are being development under State Plan and Centrally sponsored scheme of PYKKA at Bidda, Salal, Kotli, Kanthal and Arnas. Assistant Director was accompanied by Zonal Physical Education Officer, Avtar Krishan.
The team of officers also interacted with heads of the government schools and locals, who are ultimate beneficiaries of such play fields.
“The work of play field Arnas was not much satisfactory along with Middle School, Kotli play field for which the officers of executing department were asked to speed up the work making necessary improvement. At Chinkah, the work in progress was somehow satisfactory,” Assistant Director, Ashok Kumar told SAN.
The officer also interacted with Krida Shrees at Arnas. Came from Thub, Panassa, Dharmatha, Gaari, Chinkah, Arnas, Salal, Kotli, Kainthi and Dharmari, these people briefed the officers about the activities being organised by them for the youth of the area.
