Kishtwar cong deputation meets health minister | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 11: A deputation of congress Committee Kishtwar and youth congress from Kishtwar today met health minister Sham Lal Sharma and apprised him about problems being faced by public due to lack of health care facilities in mountainous district of Kishtwar. According to handout, the deputation was led by congress leaders Pardeep Singh Parihar and Sheikh Nasir jointly. Deputation apprised minister of the problems being faced by public due to lack of health care facilities in mountainous district of Kishtwar. Deputation told minister that there is acute shortage of medical and Para-medical staff in district hospital Kishtwar. Deputation further told the minister that far-flung areas of Kishtwar including Marwah, Warwan, Padder, Bonjwah and Chatroo are lacking adequate medicare facilities and in the absence of timely supply of medicines and deployment of doctors, residents of these areas are at the mercy of God. Deputation further demanded that in addition to Blood Bank facilities, at least two more ambulances be provided to Kishtwar and more posts be created for unemployed MBBS and ISM doctors.
