| NC selling J&K’s natural resources: PDP | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Jan 11: People Democratic Party (PDP) leader Shahzad Khan has said that National Conference government has blatantly sold off natural resources of the state to other agencies.
Pointing towards dismal power, Shahzad said that people are facing frequent and unscheduled power cuts. Shahzad said that erstwhile Dr Farooq Abdullah led NC regime signed a discriminatory and inequitable agreement with NHPC against a mere royalty of 12 percent. Shahzad said that when on one hand we are supplying electricity to the rest of the country, it is ironic that our own villages and towns are facing extreme shortage of electricity.
