J&K govt committed to equitable development: Dy CM | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 11: Equitable development of three regions of the state is the resolve of the government and efforts are being made to provide basic facilities to the people living in every nook and corner of the state, said Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand. He said that the coalition government is committed to fulfill the development aspirations of its people and make the state a model state in the entire country. Tara Chand was addressing a series of delegations which called on him, here today. Various legislators, social organizations and political activists had called on the Deputy Chief Minister to discuss development matters of their areas and seek redress of grievances of the public. MLC Subash Gupta led the deputation from Kathua and discussed various development issues with regard to town area committees and municipal committees of the area. A delegation led by Dr. Romesh Sharma apprised Deputy Chief Minister about status of various developmental works being undertaken in Nowshera area and highlighted various projects and schemes which require immediate attention of the government.
