Inter University Business fest begins at JU | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Jan 11: The 2-day Inter University (State Level) Business Fest Lakshya 2010-11 was inaugurated at The Business School, University of Jammu (JU), here today. The festival was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Prof Varun Sahni in the presence of Atul Kansal Chief Operating Officer, Tata Teleservices Limited, J&K Circle, who was guest of honour, Director TBS Neelu Rohmetra, Dean Student (Placements) JU Prof B C Sharma besides officials, faculty members, scholars and students. Speaking on the occasion, Prof Sahni stressed on the competitiveness, collaboration and creativity in his address. He said The Business School of the campus is one of the emerging institutes in the country and we are working together having set of goals to produce best talent in management. He appealed the visiting teams to use the opportunity in 2-day festival and expressed their talent in different competitions. Kansal gave detailed presentation about the plans of Tata Teleservices on the occasion. He also appealed the students of management to set goals for achieving best in life. Earlier, Director Neelu Rohmetra welcomed the guests and teams from institutions participating in the 2-day festival. She informed that student teams from different institution of the State including Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Kashmir University, Kathua Campus JU, Badherwah Campus JU, Jamia Milia Islamia University taking part in the fest. The fest will showcase the business qualities and creative skills of the students of different business schools and colleges from across the State, she added. It is a student driven initiative featuring activities like Quest, MBAins Got Talent, Money Managers and Tetromino, she further stated.
