Addressing Kashmiri migrant kashmiris Pandits in Jammu today, Abdullah said conditions for return of migrant kashmiris pandits can't be termed conducive till they feel secure enough to move out and walk up to temples at Hariparbat and Shankar in the wee hours as was the precedence before their migration to Jammu. Advising people talking demilitarization by claiming improvement in situation to seek withdrawal of security personnel deployed on their security, Abdullah however said Kashmiri pandits are indispensable for Kashmiriat and termed their migration a blot on the face of Kashmir. Asking migrant Kashmiri pandits to name their representative for whom he will arrange a meeting with President of India Dr A.P.J.Abdul.Kalam , Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and leader of the opposition in Lok Sabha L.K.Advani , Abdullah assured them that his party will fight for their rights in the state assembly, if their pressing issues are not resolved by both Central and State Governments immediately. He regretted that divided leadership of Kashmiri migrant pandit community is responsible for the multiplication of its ever increasing problems. Speaking on the occasion, party president Omer Abdullah said the construction of rehabilitation camps won't help the Government to make kashmiri migrant pandits feel secure and asked that if camps are BSF and army are not safe in Kashmir, how come newly constructed kashmiris migrant pandits are safe.
