| CM leaves for Delhi to seek financial allocation | | | Srinagar, November 8 Chief Minister Gh Nabi Azad accompanied by Finance Minister Tariq Hammeed Qarrah left for New Delhi to meet Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh. Sources while disclosing this revealed that Chief Minister will seek financial allocation for new districts and tehsils, construction of new power projects and rehabilitation of victims of October 8, 2005 killer quake and this year's devastating floods. The top State Government officials accompanying Chief Minister include his Principal Secretary Anil Goswami and Chief Secretary C.Phonsong. It has been also learnt that plan outlays for the next years budget besides additional assistance for flood and quake victims will come up for discussing during the meeting. |
