JWAM holds protest against traffic scenario | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Jan 12: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) today staged protest demonstration against the traffic problem in Jammu city. Addressing the protest demonstration, JWAM president Sunil Dimple urged upon the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to personally intervene and take effective steps to solve the worsening traffic problems in Jammu City and particularly in the localities of Jammu West Assembly Constituency. He alleged that the Govt administration and concerning department at the helm of the affairs has failed to control traffic problems. He reiterated demands of construction of alternative four way circular road from Ambphalla, Manda to High Court, Janipur to Roop Nagar-Bantalab to ease the traffic rush problem. Dimple also demanded the Chief Minister to construct new flyovers at Rehari Chungi to adjoining localities and Jewel Chowk to Talab Tillo to solve the traffic problems at the earliest. He warned government that the agitation will be intensified and protest rally will be taken out against the government in case Traffic problem would be solve. Earlier, deputation of JWAM called upon SSP Traffic Jammu Zahid Manhas and expressed resentment against traffic problem in Jammu city.
