| Physiotherapists take out Mashal Rally | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 12: The ongoing Physiotherapists’ protest dharna today entered its 51st day. The female cadres of Physiotherapists held a “Mashal Rally (Torch Rally)” from dharna site Mubarak Mandi to Governor House. The Rally stated late in the evening and continued for about 1 hour. The girl physios exclaimed that the successive state governments have kept their future in dark, but if this remains the policy of the
present government as well, then they will enlighten their future by pressing the State Government to the ultimate level. They also mentioned that the “Mashal” is the symbol of “Revolution” and we want to tell the State Government that if the Government will not come with a conclusive policy soon, it has to face a full fledged
revolution and then it will be really difficult for the administrators to hide their faces in public.
Dr Preeti Gupta while addressing the gathering said the “On Youth Day we are forced to awaken the deaf and dumb government to awaken it through mashals. The state government should see here that we have more than 33% of women strength, so enlighten our future.”
