| JU elects new Students Cultural Council | | | Jammu, Nov 8
Amita Malhotra, a PG student of Chemistry, IIIrd semester, has been declared as new Cultural Secretary of the Jammu University Students Cultural Council.
She was declared elected unopposed after the only other candidate in fray for the post, withdrew his nomination.
All the joint secretaries were also declared unopposed as only three forms were submitted for the same. They are Mukti Talwar from the Department of Education, Lovely Sabharwal from the PG Department of Psychology and Aziz-ul-Rehman from the Department of Law.
It may be mentioned here that Jammu University conducts all its cultural events under the aegis of Students Cultural Council. (NAK)
