22 medals for J&K in Kenshin-Do-Karate | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Jan 13: Jammu and Kashmir teams returned with medals haul at the just concluded North India Kenshin-Do-Karate Championship held at Amritsar in Punjab. The state team, which bagged overall third place, clinched 22 medals., including six gold, and an equal number of bronze in this three-day event. On their return, the young karatekas were complimented by president of J&K Kenshin-Do-Karate Association, CS Kolhi and special guest, Deputy Divisional Warden, Shailender Singh and R K Pandita in a get-together, here today. The winner team was accompanied by Anil Parihar as technical official and Mohinder Kumar as also Parveen Rajak as coach and manager respectively. “The game is new in Jammu and Kashmir but we have worked hard to make our presence felt at the national level,” technical official, Anil Parihar told SAN.
