| Veteran teacher leader joins JKTF | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 13: Veteran Teacher leader Khursheed Ahmed Mir, Rajouri district President of Jammu Kashmir United Teachers Federation joined Jammu & Kashmir Teachers’ Forum (JKTF) along with hundreds of supporters. The new entrants to JKTF were welcomed in a meeting of the Forum held at Rajouri under the chairmanship of its state General Secretary Ganesh Khajuria and Provincial Vice President Farid Ahmed Fani.
While addressing the meeting Mir expressed his full faith in the leadership of the Forum and appealed to all the pro-struggle leaders to shun their differences and join JKTF.
Mir said he has joined the Front in the larger interest of the teaching community.
Meanwhile, JKTF headed by its ex- district President Vinod Sharma was dissolved and Khurshid Mir was nominated as new district president for Rajouri District.
State Secretary Ganesh Khajuria deputed Mir and Vinod Sharma to reconstitute district and Zonal bodies for Rajouri and Poonch District.
