| Work on Channi Himmat green-belt park stayed by court | | | | Jammu: Four days after housing board removed alleged encroachments from the land earmarked for green-belt park at Chhani Himmat, principal sessions judge, Jammu, granted a stay in the matter. The court directive came in a petition filed by one Makhan Sharma that some of the proposed green-belt land belonged to him. The notice was served upon the housing board managing director for its implementation. The board had been directed by the court to file objections by Friday. |
