Employees remind Omar pledges, promises | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 14: Leaders of employees joint consultative committee have said that the cold attitude of government towards demands of employees is not only disheartening but is also telling upon the integrity of the cabinet subcommittee. According to handout issued here today, it has been stated that employee leaders have decided to hold a meeting of JCC on 16th January at Jammu wherein future course of action would be decided. All the members of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh have been requested to attend the meeting so that the situation is assessed and future course is discussed. It once again impressed upon the government to release arrears of 6th Pay Commission; enhancement of retirement age regularizes all types of adhoc, contractual and daily rated employees, release DA and implement decision of removal of pay anomalies including that of clerks without any further delay. Khurshid Alam in his statement has appealed members of the cabinet subcommittee in general and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in particular to intervene and ensure that the decisions taken by the sub-committee are implemented in letter and spirit. |
