| Nagar Singh denied bail | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Jan 14 : The court of 2nd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu Vinod Chatterji Koul today rejected the bail application of Choudhary Nagar Singh facing trial in much publicized Amandeep Murder case.The accused had sought bail on medical grounds.
The accused had submitted that his dislocated knee cap was giving him pain and he was facing difficulty in walking and cannot even stand or go upstairs and prayed for bail so that he can get himself treated at AIIMS New Delhi. The court after hearing the parties and after going through the report of the medical board observed there was no need of total replacement of right knee and request for taking the accused outside the state for the treatment was thus turned down. In view of the observations made in order dated August 5, 2010, this application is held to be misconceived, without any merit and as such rejected. --JNF
