| Power shut down | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 14-In order to carry out the thickening of the conductor the power supply to the areas 33/11 KV Receiving Stations, Purkhoo, Marh and Gajansoo shall remain affected on January 15 to 21, 2011 from 9 a. m to 2 p m.
Meanwhile, to carry out the work of dismantling of 220KV CTs from the line bay-I & II and for strengthening the jumpers/droppers besides, replacement of CT clamps, PG clamps & T clamps, in 220KV & 132KV yards at Grid station Hiranagar, the shut down of 220/132/66 KV, 320 MVA Grid station Hiranagar on January 16 from 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m is allowed. Areas affected during the shutdown are Kathua, Hiranagar, Samba, Billawar, Industrial area of Samba and part of Bari Brahamna etc. According to Chief Engineer, Elect. Maintt & RE Wing, Jammu, the shut down is subject to fair weather condition. |
