| Young lawyers association elects body | | |

UDHAMPUR, Jan 14: Young city lawyers constituted young Lawyers Welfare Association and elected Advocate Sunny Mahajan its President.
Gupta bagged 18 votes defeating his nearest rival Sunil Khajuria who could manage only 11 votes out of total polled 43 votes while Advocate Pankaj Magotra was elected as general secretary. Jandial defeated his nearest rival Advocate Rakesh Jandial who got 9 votes.
Elections were conducted under the supervision of Returning Officers Adv J D Slathia and Adv Shehnaz Shah and election convenors Adv Naresh Bhagat and Adv Yog Raj Sharma. Soon after the declaration of results, newly elected office bearers of Young bar Association Udhampur were profusely garlanded by their supporters amidst cheers and jubilation.
