| NC leader starts Jan Sampark Abhiyan | | | Early Times Report
Jammu: Senior National Conference leader and Member State Advisory Board for Development of Scheduled Castes Satwant Kaur Dogra today started her “Jan Sampark Abhiyan” of Samba Assembly Constituency by paying obeisance at Hanuman Mandir in Barian.
Dogra said this “Abhiyan” will cover all 103 polling booths, 40 Panchayats, each village, mohalla and ward of the constituency. She said that the purpose behind this extensive tour of more than two months is to take stock of the problems faced by the people living in these areas and their demands /problems would be brought to the notice of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah .
A large number of party workers and her supporters accompanied her in her day-long door-to-door campaign in villages Sujwan and Chack Jawalla. People from various sections of society met Satwant Kaur Dogra and apprised her about day to day problems. People demanded construction of a community hall in Sujwan.
People also demanded upgradation of high school of Sujwan to Higher Secondary School. She assured people that she will take up the issues concerning to people with Chief Minister to solve these problems on priority basis.
