JAMMU, Jan 15: On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, Shri Sanatan Dharam Natak Samaj organized a function in the premises of Dewan Mandir and celebrated the festival.
According to handout, the function was held under the leadership of Natak Samaj chairman Yudhvir Sethi. While speaking on the significance of Makar Sankranti, Sethi said that the day is celebrated as a festival from the times of aryans and is looked upon as the most auspicious day by Hindus.
Sat Samotra, Anil Masoom, Ravi Sharma, Ramnik Gupta, Ashok Gupta, Kulbhushan Sharma, Sanjeev Kerni, Arun Sethi, Vikrant Singh, Parvesh Kumar, Kuldeep Sharma, Sunny Sehgal and Pardeep Lengeh were present on the occasion.
