JAMMU, Jan 14:
A core group meeting of the Army, JK Police, CRPF, BSF, intelligence agencies and civil administration held today at Srinagar. Lt Gen SA Hasnain GOC Chinar Corps and the Security Advisor, chaired the Core Group Meeting at Badami Bagh Cantonment, Srinagar. DGP Kuldeep Khoda, Senior Officers of Army, Police, CRPF, BSF,
Intelligence Agencies and Civil Administration attended the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, Lt Gen SA Hasnain complemented the high level of synergy that exists between all instruments of National and State Power in addressing the security concerns of the Valley. He emphasized that the Army has declared 2011 as the year of the
‘Kashmiri Awam’.
DGP Kuldeep Khoda while addressing the gathering echoed the same sentiments and further elaborated on key Security issues as prevalent n J&K. The meeting deliberated on the prevailing external environment and carried out a holistic introspection of the way ahead.
