Carrying placards and banner, the protestors raised slogans against the neo-liberal economic policies adopted by the centre since 90s which they held mainly responsible for most of the problems. Regional secretary CPI (M) Sham Parsad Kesar Jammu lambasted both Central and State Governments for their failure in curbing the price escalation.
