| SNS takes out ‘Nagar Kirtan’ | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 15: To commemorate the 345th birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh, Sikh Naujawan Sabha (SNS) Simbal Camp organized a ‘Nagar Kirtan’ procession here today.
The procession started form Gurdwara Singh Sabha Ward No 5 Simbal Camp this morning and after passing through Link Road Tali Morh, Miran Sahib and Brijnagar culminated at Gurdwara Sri Harkrishan Sahib Nagar in the evening.
Mahant Manjeet Singh of Shiromani Dera Nangali Sahib Poonch was the chief guest on the occasion. Various Raagis, Kavishri and Dhadhi from the state as well as outside the state participated in the procession.
Sangat from various parts of Jammu also actively participate in the procession Gatka Party form Gadigarh especially participated in the procession and a fine display of Sikh Martial Art was presented by them.
The Sangat was greeted by all sections of the society irrespective of case and religion on the way of the ‘Nagar Kirtan’. At the end there was an unprecedented show of fireworks to mark the occasion.
