| Army day celebrated at Batote | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
BATOTE, Jan 15: On the auspicious occasion of ‘ARMY DAY’ today, Delta Force today organized a meet at its headquarter in village Darmund in Batote area of Doda district.
According to a handout issued here today, it has been stated that hundreds of people both from the civil society and army participated in the meet. During the meet, army dedicated newly constructed main gate to Dharmund Garrison to Late Havildar Sarup Singh who was awarded with Mahavir Chakra, for displaying gallantry and valour at a post at Bhujang in Ladhak Sector during 1962 India-China war.
